ABOUT THE ROLE

​

  • Sketch CADs in Adobe Illustrator

  • Create buyer linesheets and update buyer asset sheets

  • Research industry trends and market competitors

  • Turn over new products to sourcing and product development teams, review product samples and attend all fittings

  • Identify new fabric needs that are focused and meaningful to the assortment

  • Create trend boards based on Design Director's direction

  • Update & manage incoming new samples and fabrics

  • Manage marketing samples to sales teams and buyers

  • Attend and assist with photoshoots

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field

  • 1-2 years of Design experience

  • Ability to develop and design styles with guidance from Design Director

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a must

  • Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

  • Understanding of marketing and branding.
